KRISTIN COYNE

Kristin Coyne is a professional scenic and digital media designer based in Orange, California.
Originally from Iowa, she earned dual BAs in Theatre and Studio Art from the University of Iowa and completed her Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design at California State University, Fullerton.
Kristin’s work spans both performing arts and commercial/live entertainment, reflecting the natural evolution of a design career grounded in storytelling, collaboration, and visual world-building.
Her theatrical designs have been seen across Southern California, and she has received multiple recognitions from the OC Theatre Guild Awards, including:

In addition to her theatrical work, Kristin maintains an active portfolio in commercial, studio, and live event scenic design. As a designer with Go Button Productions in Placentia, CA, she has been fortunate to create environments for clients such as Toyota, Chevrolet, WWE, IGN, Spotify, Red Bull, Fandom, and Twitch, expanding her practice across branded entertainment, livestream studios, and experiential events.
Kristin also contributes to the Southern California arts community through arts leadership and mentorship. She served as Managing Director of The Wayward Artist from 2016–2020 and currently serves as Vice President of the OC Theatre Guild, supporting regional programs, auditions, awards, and artist development initiatives.
